ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

We are seeking candidates for our Production Learnership, reporting directly to the Production Foreman. This position is local, based in Brits. Participants will be expected to comply with safety regulations and specification standards necessary for assembling a tire within the designated cycle time during the learnership program.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments of the equipment.
  • Maintain a 3S (Sort, Set in order, Shine) environment in your work area.
  • Ensure all controls on the building machine are functioning properly.
  • Remove empty spools, trolleys, rolls, etc., from the machine.
  • Return empty items to the component section.
  • Place raw covers into designated storage bays.
  • Provide solutions to the machine as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Achieve the required production targets as part of the program.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or an N3-N5 Certificate
  • Proficiency in Mathematics (Pure Mathematics) and/or Physical Science
