About Us

The HR Intern will offer administrative assistance to the Human Resources department, contributing to various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and general HR administration.

Duties & Responsibilities

Learning and Development

  • Maintain and update the training workbook with current information as a live document on HR SharePoint.
  • Ensure that approved training initiatives are scheduled promptly according to the established plan and timelines.
  • Distribute and compile SETA learnership registers.
  • Reserve training venues and arrange for necessary equipment and catering services.
  • Coordinate with universities and colleges to collect learnership/internship documents, including WIL Letters, Accreditation, Logbooks, and SETA Registration.
  • Keep training records of learners updated on SharePoint.
  • Capture and consolidate attendance registers, stipend reconciliations, stipend proof of payment, and receipts for learning materials.

HR/IR Administrator

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including recruitment documentation and onboarding/offboarding processes, while collaborating with the recruitment team to meet administrative deadlines.
  • Help ensure that employee documents are current and properly uploaded into the system.
  • Assist in gathering necessary signatures for payroll documents and adhering to deadlines.
  • Support the management of employee relations issues.
  • Aid in preparing relevant documents for hearings and CCMA proceedings.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings with key stakeholders within the HR department.
  • Contribute to the compilation of HR/IR data to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide project administration support for HR/IR initiatives as needed.
  • Address HR-related inquiries.
