Requirements:
A degree in Economics, Development Studies, Development Economics, or Applied Economics (NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA) is required, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in a Junior Management role (at the Assistant Director level) within the Policy/Strategy Development and project management environment. An Honours degree in Development Economics would be considered an additional advantage.
Duties:

Create new programs and mechanisms to foster growth, sustainability, and job creation within the ten high-growth sectors and other significant manufacturing areas. Identify potential partners to achieve provincial objectives related to industrialization. Develop a business case and terms of reference for engaging key industry stakeholders in the sector’s development for industrialization purposes.
