This position entails establishing and nurturing robust relationships with clients and lead providers, engaging in proactive outreach through cold calling, and ensuring the efficient processing of insurance policies. Duties & Responsibilities
Client and Lead Provider Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and sustain strong business relationships with clients and lead providers, ensuring continuous engagement and satisfaction.
- Proactively manage and develop a portfolio of clients, routinely assessing coverage options and facilitating policy renewals and modifications.
Proactive Outreach and Sales:
- Engage in daily cold calling to potential clients to create new business opportunities and broaden the client base.
- Conduct telephone consultations and provide comparative quotes to all prospective clients, effectively articulating the advantages of our products and services.
Policy Documentation and Quotation:
- Ensure that all essential information and documentation required for policy issuance are accurately collected from clients.
- Thoroughly complete all policy documentation to guarantee compliance and a seamless client experience.
- Collect all pertinent information to deliver precise and customized quotations to prospective clients.
Client Portfolio Management:
- Keep accurate and current records of all client interactions and policy details in Drive folders and Salesforce, ensuring easy access and precision.
- Promptly investigate any returned or unmet debit orders for clients within your portfolio, addressing issues on the same day the debit order is returned.
- Remain knowledgeable about industry trends, market conditions, and new products to offer the best possible advice and service to clients.
Meetings and Reporting:
- Participate in weekly sales meetings as well as any additional sessions convened by the Sales Director, offering valuable insights and updates regarding sales activities.
- Deliver consistent updates on sales performance, client interactions, and lead generation initiatives.
Professional Development:
- Engage in all required skills development and training programs provided by the company to improve your sales capabilities and product knowledge.
- Remain updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and new product offerings to ensure the highest level of advice and service to clients.
Additional Duties:
- Execute any other responsibilities assigned by the Sales Director or management, showcasing adaptability and a dedication to the success of the team.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Matric Certificate
- FSCA Compliance
- RE and NQF4 qualifications will be considered advantageous (depending on the date of first appointment)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in generating new business within the commercial lines insurance sector.
