Duties & Responsibilities

Cashier Duties

• Processing and receiving payments
• Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service
• Maintaining excellent store conditions and visual merchandising standards
• Issuing receipts to customers upon their departure with purchases
• Welcoming and greeting customers
• Managing petty cash, cashbox, and refunds
• Ensuring accurate payment methods (cash/eft/card) are received from walk-in clients
• Assisting with stock taking
• Overseeing point-of-sale or cash register operations

Administration Duties

• Printing audit listings from the previous day
• Daily filing
• Conducting stock takes
• Safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality regarding all sensitive materials encountered
• Performing various ad-hoc tasks as needed

• Matric Certificate
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with the public
• Basic numeracy skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
